Additional Information
- Visiting the Calgary correctional centres to conduct chapel services under the supervision of the prison chaplain.
- Services at Calgary Young Offender Centre (CYOC): monthly chapel Bible study sessions, one-on-one visitations, and tutors sessions.
- Services at Calgary Correctional Centre (CCC): monthly chapel Bible study sessions.
- Services at Calgary Remand Centre (CRC): future opportunities are under discussion.
Ministry needs
- Additional volunteers are needed.
- 1 to 3 hours per month.
- Selected chapel session timeslots in the evening during the week and on weekends.
- Continued prayers for the ministry (chapel volunteers, inmates, prison staff, and their families).
Volunteer skills required
- A compassionate, patient, prayerful, and contrite heart.
